New Real-Time Link Boosts Efficiency in the Cath Lab

Outfitted with the new real-time link, the Allura Xper FD 10 and 10/10 cardiovascular X-ray systems help interventional cardiologists better control and manage procedures by providing important functions, such as StentBoost and Allura 3D-CA, at their fingertips. These unique interventional tools improve the visualization of the coronary tree, leading to better clinical insight for stent placement and lesion assessment. The real-time digital link offers physicians more control, lessens reliance on cath lab support staff, speeds up interactions between the surgery table and control room and increases overall efficiency.
New fusion technology will allow 3-D computed tomography (CT) images to be transferred and used in tandem with the Allura Xper FD systems during interventional procedures. In addition, Comprehensive Cardiac Analysis (CCA) provides many new visualization tools, aiming to substantially reduce the time and the complexity involved in a cardiac CT evaluation. Based on total heart segmentation, CCA delivers advanced stent planning as well as in-depth visualization of the entire coronary tree for more precise planning and treatment decisions.
