Ostial Corp. Rebrands as Verge Medical, Acquires New Technology

Ostial Corp has acquired the Wavella technology from Crossfire Medical and unveiled its new identity — Verge Medical.

March 17, 2025 – Ostial Corp., a privately held medical technology company focused on addressing the clinical challenges of aorto-ostial interventions, has acquired the Wavella technology from Crossfire Medical. The company also unveiled its new identity as Verge Medical, marking a strategic expansion in the coronary and peripheral markets, with product offerings now in the inpatient and office-based settings.

Wavella is a specialty infusion catheter designed to improve procedural efficiency and patient comfort in venous applications. The patented technology employs a rotating sinusoidal wire that will simultaneously deliver physician-specified agents, ensuring comprehensive, segmental agent delivery in the peripheral vasculature.
