The angiography and X-ray division of Siemens Medical Solutions will showcase its AXIOM Artis imaging system with 30 by 40 cm configuration for cardiology.
Enabling cardiac and peripheral applications, the AXIOM Artis is a fully digital, ceiling-mounted cardiac imaging system designed to connect the cath lab as part of the hospital’s cardiology department. The system provides the speed, flexibility and integration needed for cardiology procedures, with a design aimed to improve accessibility to the patient. It can access CT and MR images to provide the cardiologist with additional information needed for effective treatment planning.
The system is equipped with flat-panel detector (FD) technology, and is the first FD system to be supported by a ceiling-mounted C-arm for greater accessibility.
