The largest medical imaging show in the world is the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), taking place Dec. 1-6 at McCormick Place, Chicago. This is where vendors show their newest imaging systems for the first time, either as a newly FDA cleared product, or as a work-in-progress. It is also a one-stop-shop for radiology and cardiology departments, since it covers all imaging modalities, including ultrasound, angiography, CT, MRI, nuclear and supporting IT systems, such as cardiac PACS.
This year, more than 55,000 attendees will converge in Chicago from around the world to view the latest discoveries, techniques and innovations. From lectures and sessions focused on radiology’s hottest topics to the presentations of cutting-edge research and the latest in radiology informatics, learning opportunities in every subspecialty are available at RSNA 2013. This year’s offerings of scienti?c presentations, education exhibits and courses will keep attendees abreast of the latest discoveries and techniques in medical imaging.
Some of the products and services related to cardiology that will be displayed are previewed below. Also, to help navigate the show floor with hundreds of vendors and products, we created the RSNA FastPass microsite, www.itnonline.com/rsna-fastpass. Visitors can use the orange drop down bar tab to search products by modality. The site will be updated during RSNA and after with news and new products released at the show.
