Philips Showcases Cath Lab, CVIS at TCT 2007

October 18, 2007 - At TCT 2007, Philips Medical Systems is presenting two live interventional cases with the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, and its integrated cath lab for the interventional care cycle.
For unstable plaque, ischemia, arrhythmia or heart failure interventions, the Philips Brilliance CT is integrated with the Philips Xcelera R2.1 image management solution to simultaneously share images with Philips Allura Xper FD20 and FD10 monoplane and FD10/10 biplane systems. The Allura Xper FD systems optimize cath lab efficiency with the leading solutions for diagnostic, interventional and pediatric cardiology, as well as vascular interventions and electrophysiology. Philips Dosewise ensures optimum image quality with low patient X-ray dose. The Xper family of products also features Philips 3D Coronary Angiography (3D-CA), which provides instant, accurate 3D modeling of the coronary arteries for the most complex interventions. To assist with stent deployment, Philips StentBoost improves visualization of stents in the coronary arteries.
The Philips CVIS is a comprehensive cardiac IT solution comprised of enterprise connectivity, multimodality image management, clinical applications, clinical reporting, outcomes-based analysis reporting, cath lab management reporting, multimodality scheduling, inventory and intelligent data management.
