AiMed Global Summit’s Lineup Announced

The AiMed Global Summit 2023 will take place June 4-7 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif., with the theme “Changing Healthcare One Connection at a Time.” Throughout the summit, attendees will have the opportunity to network with 1,500 healthcare game-changers and hear from top AI key opinion leaders, gaining expert insights, proven best practices and real-world success stories.

A Look at AiMed’s History

The mission of AiMed is to take the mystery out of AI and show what it can do today, while also giving a glimpse of what the future holds. It was created with the purpose of advancing data science and artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine around the world. Today, the organization hosts numerous in-person and digital events throughout the year to discuss the advancement of AI in medicine.

Anthony Chang, MD, MPH, MS, MBA, is the chairman and founder of AiMed, and is also the director of the Medical Intelligence and Innovation Institute (MI3), which is based at the Children's Hospital of Orange County, Calif. MI3 is funded by the Sharon Disney Lund Foundation with the purpose of advancing data science and artificial intelligence in medicine around the world. 

AiMed’s 2023 Lineup

There is a lot on the agenda for the AiMed Global Summit 2023, including seven summit tracks, more than 200 renowned speakers, over 10 keynotes, as well as pre- and post-summit partner events, all within an immersive, interactional environment.

Also featured will be the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) AI Review Course. In partnership with AiMed Global Summit, ABAIM is offering a CME-accredited course led by industry experts, including Anthony Chang, MD, MPH, MS, MBA. This one-day course is the perfect foundation for gaining an educational certification assessment in AI. The course is worth 8 credit hours. Day 2. The CHIME Conference continues on June 5, alongside the official opening of the Smart Health Expo, where participants will find services, solutions and inspiration. The AI Foundations: Primer masterclass will provide a multidisciplinary and comprehensive overview of the principles and application of data science, AI and intelligence-based medicine, and is a must-attend for those looking to strengthen their foundational level knowledge of AI.

Day 3. June 6 marks the official start of the AiMed Global Summit, and will start the day off with a Morning 5K Run. Afterward, breakfast will be served in the Smart Health Expo, along with Breakfast Workshops for continuing education. These will be followed by AiMed Keynote sessions. Breakout tracks will include From Data to Delivery, Ethics and Regulation, Population Health and Equity, Tools and Deployment, Strategies for Heathcare Leaders, Applications in Clinical Domains, and The Computer Lab. The excitement continues with the Shark Tank start-up showcase, where five groups will have four minutes to deliver a pitch for their solution, followed by a Q&A session. The day will come to a close with the AI Champion Awards, recognizing AI leaders in healthcare. Day 4. Another morning 5K run will take place June 7, followed by breakfast and breakfast workshops. AiMed Headliners also makes its debut, featuring a series of keynotes from senior healthcare leaders discussing current AI challenges in healthcare.
