April 15, 2008 – The American College of Cardiology, American College of Emergency Physicians and the Duke University School of Medicine are hosting a two-day program on emergency cardiovascular care that will examine strategies to enhance STEMI systems for reperfusion, May 30-31 at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington D.C.
The program will provide evidence-based strategies and tools to enable multidisciplinary teams to develop, improve and implement regional integrated systems for rapid reperfusion in STEMI patients. The pros and cons of a STEMI system will be discussed, along with medical system issues, measurement and feedback of STEMI care, and national and regulatory issues.
