VidiStar
In June, VidiStar received its U.S. patent for creating and rendering DICOM structured reports over the Internet. VidiStar also is releasing its recently developed Internet, remote processing of cardiac nuclear stress studies.
Toshiba
Toshiba is showcasing its newest ultrasound system, the Aplio 500, which brings quantitative cardiac analysis bedside. It features Toshiba’s Wall Motion Tracking technology, combined with ergonomics and a smaller footprint than most systems, making it easier to maneuver and helping to improved workflow. Also highlighted is the Aplio Artida, the company's flagship cardiovascular ultrasound, with new software version 3.0, which offers improved 3-D imaging and next-generation 3-D Wall Motion Tracking software, providing accurate and reproducible quantitative analysis of cardiac function.
Cardiac Accreditation Service
In addition to updates to its easy-to-use and cost-effective accreditation software solution, Cardiac Accreditation Services (CAS, booth 526) is excited to announce its new partnership with UltraLinq (booth 517). Beginning this summer, UltraLinq clients who subscribe to CAS's software service will be able to turn their attention to patient care and practice growth--without worrying about accreditation paperwork.
lifeImage
lifeImage is showcasing a unique set of services that allow cardiology departments to send and receive imaging exams, wherever needed, with a universal viewer that can play multi-frame echocardiography images at the acquired frame rate. Beneficial use cases for this service include second opinions, off-hours reading, referral consideration, and instant viewing during emergency cases.
IAC
IAC is launching new services and enhancements are to ensure that the IAC accreditation program offers a process that is streamlined and offers leadership and is inclusive. While maintaining high standards focused on quality patient care, the IAC now offers program enhancements, including a 60 day comment period for new standards, dramatic enhancements to the online application, accreditation checklists, and the ability to upload case studies through a picture archiving and communications system (PACS) later this year.

VentriPoint
VentriPoint developed a novel way to reconstruct a 3-D image of the heart by identifying anatomical sites and then using a database to connect all the dots to form a precise image of showing the shape and size. One condition where doctors are particularly challenged is blue-baby syndrome (Tetralogy of Fallot), a congenital heart defect that affects newborns. It is very difficult, often impossible, to get accurate measurements of these tiny hearts in order to determine the best way and time to operate on the child to surgically repair the defect.
UltraLinq
UltraLinq Healthcare Solutions will introduce the latest version of its cloud-based image management solution, which includes feature enhancements to their reporting and dictation capabilities, as well as improved mobile device viewing and reporting from the iPad and iPhone. Additionally UltraLinq now allows direct integration with their newest partner product, Cardiac Accreditation Services.
