Toshiba

Toshiba is showcasing its newest ultrasound system, the Aplio 500, which brings quantitative cardiac analysis bedside. It features Toshiba’s Wall Motion Tracking technology, combined with ergonomics and a smaller footprint than most systems, making it easier to maneuver and helping to improved workflow. Also highlighted is the Aplio Artida, the company's flagship cardiovascular ultrasound, with new software version 3.0, which offers improved 3-D imaging and next-generation 3-D Wall Motion Tracking software, providing accurate and reproducible quantitative analysis of cardiac function.

Cardiac Accreditation Service

In addition to updates to its easy-to-use and cost-effective accreditation software solution, Cardiac Accreditation Services (CAS, booth 526) is excited to announce its new partnership with UltraLinq (booth 517). Beginning this summer, UltraLinq clients who subscribe to CAS's software service will be able to turn their attention to patient care and practice growth--without worrying about accreditation paperwork.

lifeImage

One condition where doctors are particularly challenged is blue-baby syndrome (Tetralogy of Fallot), a congenital heart defect that affects newborns. It is very difficult, often impossible, to get accurate measurements of these tiny hearts in order to determine the best way and time to operate on the child to surgically repair the defect.
