Upgraded RIS-PACS Solution Optimized for Multimodalities


December 8, 2009 – An updated version of RIS/PACS, showcased last week at RSNA 2009, includes solutions for PET/CT and SPECT/CT fusion, and nuclear cardiology.

The nuclear cardiology system by Thinking Systems is designed to aid in quantification and offers template-driven structured reporting. Other upgrades include general nuclear medicine processing (MUGA, renal, gallbladder, lung, gastric emptying, general ROI analysis, etc.) and review, and echocardiology Web-based review and structured reporting.  

Thinking Systems’ PACS solutions include image archiving, connectivity/data conversion for both DICOM and non-DICOM modality devices, and comprehensive clinical suites for all modalities running on either dedicated workstations or remotely. The company’s PACS solutions offer side-by-side comparisons of radiology and cardiology modalities with specific clinical tools for each modality. Thinking Systems’ Web-based RIS provides patient registration, modality worklist, report generation and distribution, and billing interface.
