KARL STORZ implemented its own environmental and device control systems operated by a single touchscreen panel. The icon-based controls of the new OR1 A/V Control System provide intuitive graphic representations of all OR1 image sources and displays, as well as preset system commands.
Designed by clinicians for clinicians, the system offers a broad selection of stock and custom icon images to identify separate devices, including images and PACS devices. It provides full integration of all imaging products needed for the entire procedure, starting with intubation and continuing through each step of the operative procedure.
