March 3, 2015 — ScImage announced the immediate availability and deployment of updated quantification metrics based on guidelines published jointly in January 2015 by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).

The new guidelines for ScImage’s PicomSRI structured echocardiography reporting platform support the latest cardiac chamber quantification standards, establishing new normal values for all four cardiac chambers, including three-dimensional echocardiography and myocardial deformation. New results were established on the basis of a substantially larger population of normal subjects, improving the reliability of the reference values.
