The new SL12 and SL6 resting ECG systems from SpaceLabs.
March 1, 2010 – An enterprise-wide scalable cardiology information management system (CIMS) that consolidates the workflow of the entire range of noninvasive diagnostic cardiology modalities will be highlighted in SpaceLabs’ booth 2644 at the ACC 2010 conference, March 14-16, in Atlanta.
The Sentinel CIMS consolidates the workflow of Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), 12-lead resting ECG, stress ECG and other patient monitors. Sentinel also interfaces to many third-party ECG products. The CIMS organizes data, storing both details and recordings in a central, networked database. Immediate access to complete information for a specific patient is also provided including historic ECG data. Sentinel connects the entire patient record seamlessly – admission, diagnosis, reporting, and discharge – and is designed to integrate with EMR/HIS systems.
Spacelabs Healthcare is also introducing CardioExpress, the company’s latest range of ECG devices. CardioExpress SL12 and SL6 resting ECG units offer clinicians convenience and flexibility. Both new devices assure fast and accurate 12-lead ECG acquisition and integrate with Sentinel for measurement, interpretation and reporting. They offer optional storage of 200 ECGs, crystal-clear touch screen, and barcode reader.
