SCAI Scientific Sessions 2025 to Feature Presentations on TAVR, PAD and PE 

Some of the late-breaking presentations will address topics such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), peripheral artery disease (PAD), and pulmonary embolism (PE).


SCAI Scientific Sessions 2025 will take place May 1 to 3, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

Some of the late-breaking topics that will be covered include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), peripheral artery disease (PAD), and pulmonary embolism (PE): 

  • “Impact of Age on Procedural Timing for Asymptomatic Severe Aortic Stenosis: Results from the Early TAVR Trial” 
  • “The PERFORMANCE II Trial: A Prospective Multicenter Single Arm Investigation of the Neuroguard IEP® 3-in-1 Carotid Stent System with Integrated Embolic Protection. Stent Durability and Patency at 2 years”

  • “Incidence and Gender-Based Comparison of Prosthesis-Patient Mismatch (PPM) in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)”  
  • “Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Ambulatory Surgery Centers: Procedural Volume Trends and Outcomes in the Medicare Population”
