The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) played host to thousands in attendance during TCT2022, the 34th annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), held Sept. 16-20, 2022.
The 34th Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), was held Sept. 16-20 in Boston, MA. For those of us on hand for the event, and others who participated virtually, it was clear how TCT has become the premier educational meeting specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine.
Cardiologists from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI presented a live case in the Coronary Theater on Sept. 19 during TCT 2022.
One of more than 30 live case sites like this one from Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI, were presented to a captive audience during TCT 2022. The cases were performed by world-renowned experts from more than 15 of the world's most prestigious medical institutions.
Moderators and discussants presided over the TCT2022 late-breaking Clinical Science sessions throughout the symposium.

The World Connect Theater at TCT 2022 hosted dozens of panel discussions joining global cardiovascular specialists sharing scientific breakthroughs to large and attentive audiences throughout the Sept. 16-20 event in Boston, MA.
The American Heart Association (AHA) joined forces with CRF and TCT during this year's event. The AHA's Scientific Sessions leaders shared live highlights of TCT from the World Connect studio. In turn, CRF will present several sessions at the Association’s Scientific Sessions 2022, to be held November 5-7 in Chicago, IL.
TCT 2022 attendees even got an opportunity to view the Sept. 19 funeral services of Queen Elizabeth in the Philips booth.
An engaging clinical trial was presented during TCT 2022 by Deepak Bhatt, MD, Brigham and Women's Hospital Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Executive Director of Interventional Cardiovascular Programs and Professor at Harvard Medical School. Presiding as co-moderator was Gregory Curfman, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Former Editor-in-Chief, Harvard Health Publishing.
TCT 2022 Young Investigator Award winner Jennifer Rymer, MD, MPH, Duke University, is joined by Roxana Mehran, MD, TCT Course Co-Director, CRF Faculty, and Professor of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York after the Sept. 19 Award Ceremony. Both are actively involved in the Women as One global initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women in medicine.
