October 16, 2014 — Imricor Medical Systems Inc. announced that it has entered into a license agreement with Sorin Group to develop magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) compatible leads for use with Sorin implantable cardiac rhythm management devices.
"Imricor has unique knowledge and extensive expertise in the field of MRI compatible technology for implanted medical devices. By means of this agreement, we are working together to develop cardiac rhythm management products that can be used in MRI environments," said Stefano Di Lullo, president, cardiac rhythm management business unit, Sorin Group.
