July 7, 2014 β Vital Images Inc. announced the global release of VitreaExtend, an advanced visualization solution that supports up to three simultaneous users with high performance similar to Vital's advanced server-based solution. VitreaExtend meets the needs of organizations that want increased access to advanced visualization tools without a significant IT footprint.
VitreaExtend features the same easy-to-use toolset as Vital's flagship Vitrea software. It is designed for facilities that need access from multiple locations to powerful advanced visualization tools. With access for multiple users, it helps free up scanner consoles, increasing efficiency and productivity. Dynamic licensing capabilities allow one walk-up and two remote users, or three remote users, depending on the individual needs of the facility.
