TriReme Expands Size Selection for Chocolate PTA Balloons


June 21, 2012 — TriReme Medical Inc. announced today it received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for an expanded matrix of sizes for its Chocolate percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon catheter. Chocolate is now approved for the percutaneous transluminal treatment of lesions in the peripheral vasculature in balloon diameters from 2 to 4 mm and in balloon lengths of up to 120 mm.
