Toshiba Highlights Advanced Non-Contrast MRA Techniques

Toshiba will showcase its proprietary non-contrast magnetic resonance (MR) angiography imaging techniques and a new application of Time-Spatial Labeling Inversion Pulse (Time-SLIP) at the 2011 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) trade show. To evaluate cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow disorders in children and adults, Time-SLIP can visualize CSF flow without the administration of contrast media, making imaging safer for patients.

In addition to Time-SLIP, Toshiba will show its full suite of advanced contrast-free MRA techniques, including Fresh Blood Imaging (FBI), Contrast-free Improved Angiography (CIA) and Time Space Angiography (TSA).
