July 15, 2011 — TeraRecon Inc. will highlight the accessibility and clinical workflow impact of its iNtuition solution at the sixth annual scientific meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo., July 14-17, 2011.
Innovative, integrated cardiovascular workflow is achieved by combining powerful locally hosted iNtuition servers, and TeraRecon’s fully featured iNtuition cloud service. Image data can be sent to the cloud by a local iNtuition server system or by an individual using the iNtuition Uploader desktop application software. Real-time interpretation can be conducted in the cloud, or image data may be automatically de-identified and relayed to another iNtuition server.
iNtuition empowers unified advanced visualization workflows and enhanced responsiveness for interventional planning by providing physicians faster access to image data, decision support and reporting tools. Workflow is consolidated around the physician, and not around a limited number of physical locations; a single picture archiving and communication system (PACS) or computed tomography (CT) vendor brand; or an insulated health system network. iNtuition’s volumetric interpretation environment seamlessly encompasses images from the many locations, and achieves this workflow in combination with existing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and PACS.
During the SCCT conference, several new Web-based continuing medical education (CME)-accredited physician training courses will be introduced which utilize iNtuition cloud as the enabling visualization technology.
