February 4, 2009 - On Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 pm, The Halifax Health - Center for Cardiology, Daytona Beach, FL will present a live online panel discussion on an automated implantable cardiac defibrillator (ICD) surgical case.
Halifax Health's Hanscy Seide, M.D., director of electrophysiology, Donald Stoner, M.D., chief medical officer and Matt Petkus, director of cardiac services, will discuss a pre-recorded surgical case with online viewers. Members of the community are also invited to attend in the Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach auditorium where they will have the opportunity to go through the procedure step-by-step and meet key members of the cardiology team. Dr. Seide, who is with the Daytona Heart Group, has implanted more than 400 defibrillators during the past three years.
