Collaboration Provides Customers With Accreditation Support

November 4, 2010 – GE Healthcare has signed an exclusive collaboration agreement with West Physics Consulting to provide accreditation support. The agreement will support customers seeking accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for MRI, CT, nuclear medicine and PET systems.

The service will help hospitals and outpatient facilities nationwide achieve accreditation for their GE and non-GE imaging systems. Specifically, it is designed to help customers through the entire ACR application: clinical image submission; phantom image submission; yearly medical physicist survey; and site quality control measures. The companies will also give customers advice on the proper way to prepare submissions and complete forms.
