Reitermann to Head Siemens Healthcare's U.S. Organization

Michael Reitermann will become the new CEO of Siemens Healthcare, U.S. organization, effective July 1, 2009.


June 16, 2009 - Michael Reitermann will become the new CEO of Siemens Healthcare, U.S. organization, responsible for sales, marketing, service and logistics across the Siemens Healthcare portfolio, including medical imaigng equipment, healthcare information technology and medical therapy effective July 1, 2009.

Reitermann is currently the CEO of the Siemens molecular imaging business unit, and CEO of the former nuclear medicine division.

Also effective July 1, 2009, Britta Fuenfstueck, who holds a MSc degree in physics from the University Luinz in Austria, will succeed Michael Reitermann as CEO of Siemens molecular imaging business unit. Fuenfstueck is currently vice president, business strategy, mergers and acquisition, innovation and collaboration for Siemens Healthcare.
