April 5, 2009 - InSite One Inc. announced at HIMSS 2009 it will re-sign a three-year contact with InSight Health Corp. for its imaging centers’ enterprise storage with a cohesive service level agreement as the exclusive archive provider, providing InSite One’s InDex DICOM standards-based storage and content management services.

The implementation of InDex enables InSight Health Corp. to consolidate digital data into a virtual archive making it possible for easy access to prior studies as needed and on-demand along with a quick return to operation, disaster recovery plan.

In the company’s 10th anniversary, the InDex Archive currently is averaging 15 terabytes of digital medical data on a weekly basis with a total of over 2.3 billion image objects, representing 5 percent of the U,S. patient population. This makes InDex the largest single medical storage service in the industry with 2 petabytes of medical imaging data managed by InSite One.
