InSite One Signs On Several New Cardiology Sites

February 4, 2008 - InSite One Inc. experienced continued growth in its cardiology business within the past quarter, adding new sites that include Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas; Cardiology Associates of Northwest Indiana, Munster, IN; Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD; Washington Hospital in Washington, DC and BSG Imaging Center Brownwood, TX among other clinical applications and client sites.

“InSite One’s powerful InDex archive supports optimized data management with partner applications that can address the long-term storage of large data sets inherent in Cardiology digital imaging. The breadth of data within Cardiology requires high performance solutions like InDex OnSite for ready access to archived studies whether the exam is a 265-slice CT scan or a digital echocardiogram,” commented Mitchell Goldburgh, senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development. “This continued growth in cardiology sites is in direct response to the continued growth in this area brought about by a generation of archives that are becoming obsolete.”

InDex delivers a suite of Web-enabled managed patented services that conform to IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) protocols to meet a full range of HIPAA enabling healthcare data storage and disaster recovery requirements. These solutions include on-site capacity as well as off-site data protection and disaster recovery scalable to individual client or enterprise requirements. InSite One offers through channel partners a full spectrum of managed services that include seamless data migration, ongoing IT support, state-of-the-art hardware and software upgrades that keep pace with a site’s evolving needs without on-going capital investments and transfers long-term archiving cost to operating budgets. The InDex Archive is currently archiving over 1.5 billion individual stored images with over 21 million stored studies for over 525 sites nationally. On a weekly basis this archive accepts 12 terabytes of compressed medical data from radiology, cardiology, womens’ health and oncology sites.
