Biodex Medical Systems will feature its new Sound Pro and Surgical C-Arm Table 846 at RSNA 2007.
When only a single table is possible, the Sound Pro Combination Table helps meet the broadest spectrum of need, according to its manufacturer. Fully loaded with ultrasound and echocardiography capabilities, the table is ergonomically designed to suit both patient and sonographer. All table adjustments are accomplished with either a hand or foot controller and allow scanning from a seated or standing position. A cushioned swing-out section of the tabletop allows the sonographer open access to the patient’s thorax area. The C-Arm Table 846’s large radiolucent area, motorized actuation of height and free-float tabletop reportedly make it ideal for both pain care and cardiovascular applications. The contour design of the tabletop offers additional space at the head-end of the table, while enabling the user to get the C-Arm close to the cervical spine for greater image resolution.
