The Encompass’ standards-based DVD-R archiving technology allows years of patient cardiology studies to be stored in a single location. Archived cases can be accessed from any review station on the network in about 30 seconds. Patient data is not locked away in a proprietary format that only one vendor can decode. Physicians are guaranteed access to patient data at all times. The Encompass creates DVDs that can be read from any PC with a DVD reader.
Patient information is protected with Disaster Recovery Discs — duplicate copies of the archive DVDs that are created automatically and stored off site. Patient data can be restored in minutes.
