December 2, 2008 - MRME, the publisher of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine (RICM), and the California Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (CA ACC), have announced a partnership to develop important and impactful educational programs for cardiologists.
The CA ACC is committed to working with the California legislature to help ensure the practice of cardiology continues to focus on the best interests of patients and that cardiologists deliver the most effective care to those patients. Many of these issues are believed to have implications around the country.
The joint partnership between MRME and CA ACC will focus on::
- Development of medical education programs that are based on accurate assessments of the needs of cardiologists
- Guaranteeing that these programs are of the highest quality and readily available to cardiologists
- Enhancing communication between CA ACC/MRME and practicing cardiologists
- Informing cardiologists of political developments both at the state and national level that may affect their practice and how they care for patients, ultimately enhancing their ability to access the political processes
