April 25, 2007 — Bristol-Myers Squibb will host a groundbreaking ceremony May 2 for its new biologics facility in Devens, MA. The state’s governor, Deval Patrick, as well as other state and local officials and community leaders will be present. Speakers at the groundbreaking will include Gov. Patrick and Bristol-Myers Squibb chief executive officer Jim Cornelius.
The company announced the selection of the Devens site in June 2006 and recently began construction of the facility, which is expected to be operational in 2009.
