August 28, 2007 – GE Healthcare announced that it has signed an agreement with Novation for GE’s advanced radiology and cardiology image and information management technologies, which will extend technology offerings to VHA Inc. (VHA) and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), two national health care alliances, and Provista member healthcare organizations.
Under the terms of this three-year agreement, which takes effect Oct. 1, 2007, GE Healthcare will provide nearly 2,500 members of VHA and UHC technologies and services designed to help simplify workflow, enhance diagnostic certainty and improve outcomes. GE will provide it’s Centricity RIS-IC, Centricity Radiology PACS, Centricity CVIS and Centricity Cardiology PACS as part of this agreement.
