Board Certified Vascular Surgeon Joins NDA Partners as Expert Consultant

May 12, 2022 — NDA Partners General Manager, Eric Fish, announced today that Peter Mackrell, MD, a board certified vascular surgeon, has joined the company as an Expert Consultant. Mackrell is a practicing surgeon with Vascular Surgery Associates, LLC and serves as Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and Co-Director of the Non-invasive Vascular Lab at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He is an expert in peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, general surgery, trauma, wound healing, and cardiovascular percutaneous interventions and formerly served as Co-Director of the wound care center at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and serves on advisory committees at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and Cardiovascular Institute Council of the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

According to Deb Koeneman, Manager of NDA Partners’ medical device practice, “Dr. Mackrell’s extensive clinical experience will be valuable to our clients developing and evaluating medical device products used to treat cardiovascular diseases and promote wound healing. Peter Mackrell earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University. He completed his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center and fellowship in peripheral and endovascular surgery at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
