December 23, 2009 – The American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) ACC.10 and i2 Summit 2010 is March 14-16, 2010, in Atlanta.
The event is designed to translate science into patient-centered care with cutting-edge educational sessions. The event includes education for every interest in cardiology, with 11 learning pathways, interactive learning experiences, lifelong learning and recertification opportunities.
The latest advances in interventional cardiology will be covered at the event. New sessions and events include an eight-hour pharmacology certificate course, a health system reform session, mock door-to-balloon-time simulations, and the FIT Case Bowl where participants can test their knowledge against their peers.
Anthony Atala, M.D., will give the Simon Dack Lecture focusing on regenerative cardiac medicine. Richard M. Satava, M.D., will give the Bishop Lecture focusing on robotics, information technology, artificial intelligence in surgery and healthcare.
