This is a 360 degree photo of a Siemens Somatom Force 64-slice, dual-source computed tomography (CT) system installed at the Baylor Scott & White Health Heart And Vascular Hospital in downtown Dallas. It is a dedicated cardiac CT angiography (CTA or CCTA) scanner used for coronary assessments and structural heart assessments. Advanced visualization post-processing imaging is used to help screen patients' anatomy for structural heart procedures such as left atrial appendage (LAA) occlusions and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The heart hospital's imaging department also has a dedicated 1.5T MRI system and both a fixed room and mobile digital radiography systems.
