This is a 360 degree photo view inside the neuro-interventional radiology lab at Henry Ford Hospital to show the layout of the room. It is centered around a Siemens Artis Zee bi-plane system, has a dedicated ultrasound unit and the cabinets contain neuro-interventional specific devices. It is one of 11 interventional radiology labs at Henry Ford. These labs use a mix of angiography systems from Philips, Siemens and GE. The IR program has an expanding patient volume and is planning to add additional labs.
This interventional lab in the photo focuses on interventions for acute stroke, similar to a cardiac cath lab, where the time to revascularization to save brain tissue is the same as the door-to-balloon "time is muscle" philosophy. Read more on advances in stroke treatments.
